G.S. KAGITEGA School

On Monday the 22nd of April the team visited G.S. Kagitega High School and Primary School. The school is very large with over 1,027 girls. So we have a big job to do here. Because of the size of the school it was decided to distribute grade by grade. Today we distributed to Senior 1, which is Year 7 in Australia - 202 kits were distributed to girls and 30 boys received the “Men Who Know” training.

We have distributed at this school before. Most recently in December 2023. Here is some of the encouraging feedback we received;

I used to attend school dirty from my period but now I come very clean

We have decided to make G.S. Kagitega High School and Primary School a priority school. We’ll work to distribute to every girl at the school and then to every new student that joins each year.
