On 4 September 2026, Days for Girls, with generous support from Karan Petroleum, conducted a sanitary pad distribution and menstrual health education activity at Ruhengeri Hospital.
A total of 250 reusable sanitary pad kits were distributed to women at the hospital. The activity went well, and the beneficiaries expressed great appreciation and happiness for receiving this valuable support.
In addition to receiving the sanitary pad kits, the women participated in menstrual health education and training. The training provided important information on menstrual hygiene, proper use and care of the reusable sanitary products, and the importance of maintaining good menstrual health.

The distribution revealed a significant unmet need for menstrual health support at Ruhengeri Hospital.
