The day continued with another Compassion distribution at Kinigi.
The students were very attentive to the hygiene and health training. The girls were grateful for the re-usable kits. Thye expressed gratitude that they now don’t need to be ashamed of their bodies during a period.
100 girls received health training and a smart starter kits.
23 boys received the Men Who Know training
The boys agreed to not make toxic jokes about the girls having a period. This was in response to they understanding through the health training.
The compassion team thanked us because the girls come from poor families who have no access to pads.
