April 2025 Distributions - 591 Kits

In April 2025, Days for Girls focused its efforts on distributing sanitary pads to vulnerable girls in the Rubavu and Burera districts of Rwanda. This vital outreach was aimed at ensuring that no girl misses school because of her period.

We successfully distributed

  • 480 reusable sanitary pads at SHWEMU II School in Rubavu

  • 111 reusable sanitary pads at CYAHI School in Burera

Both schools had identified a pressing issue: girls often missed school during their menstrual periods due to a lack of proper sanitary products. With the support of Days for Girls, these young students can now attend classes consistently and with dignity.
