Two Schools in one day
G.S KANEMBWE and G.S BUHAZA
Today the team distributed and trained at two different schools. We had 6 trainers and were joined by a German intern Helene.
G.S KANEMBWE
We have trained and distributed at this school before. We returned to train and distribute kits to 77 girls.
G.S BUHAZA
This is a new school for us. We were able to train and provide kits to 309 girls. They were so appreciative!
Highlights
The distribution was successfully completed despite logistical challenges.
We were able to serve both schools in one day, which required flexibility due to students' exam schedules.
The students were not available all at once. Some were sitting for exams in the morning and others in the afternoon. The team was flexible and no girl missed out
It was a long day for the team which resulted in very late return home.
Encouragement
The headmaster of G.S BUHAZA showed strong interest and support for the program, expressing appreciation for the pad distribution to his students. This was very motivating for the team.
