With schools on holiday the team moved to assist women at remote health centres and hospitals
The distribution done on the 21st of July went very well. We received a big number of women who usually come seeking medical assistance from the Kinoni Hospital. We provided health training on reproductive health. Proper care of the kits was thoroughly demonstrated. The kits should last for many years.
252 Kits were distributed and even more women were trained - we ran out of kits!
The hospital staff commented,
It was an honour to see the women in our community actively participate in the health training. They were eager to learn about menstrual health and the Days for Girls kits.
