On 26 October 2026, Days for Girls Musanze Enterprise conducted a reusable sanitary pad distribution at E.P. Gatete in Burera District, with support from Karan Petroleum.
A total of 150 girls received Days for Girls Smart Starter Kits, while 110 boys were also reached through menstrual health awareness activities. The initiative aimed to improve access to menstrual hygiene products, increase awareness, and promote understanding and respect for girls during menstruation.
During the activity, students raised questions about menstrual cycles and cultural beliefs surrounding menstruation, highlighting the importance of continued menstrual health education in schools.
