Days for Girls Musanze successfully conducted a sanitary pad distribution activity in the Cyuve Community, benefiting 50 women and girls through the generous support of KARAN PETROLEUM.

Alongside the distribution, a health education session was provided to all participants. The session focused on menstrual health and hygiene, helping women and girls understand how their bodies function, the menstrual cycle, and the importance of proper menstrual hygiene management. Participants actively engaged in the discussions and gained valuable knowledge that will help them make informed decisions about their health and well-being.

The beneficiaries expressed great joy and appreciation for the support received. Many of the women and girls come from vulnerable and low-income households were purchasing sanitary pads regularly can be difficult. The donated pads will help improve their comfort, confidence, dignity, and participation in daily activities.
